If sound waves could be drawn, what would they look like? I saw a video today called "Cool Salt" and got an idea of what that looks like. They put a speaker under a flat surface with salt, and as the pitch coming out of the speaker rises, the salt moves into different patterns.
If this is for real, what effect does pitch have on our bodies? What reactions are our cells having as pitch rises and falls?
Fun food for thought.

Yes, the research of sound arranging matter is so exciting...it is called "Cymatics" - also the name of the film about this (the research of Hans Jeny and his predecessor) that I discovered in the mid-80's in a bookstore by happenstance. When you google Cymatics you get to see some of the photos of different types of liquid and other matter that are beautifully arranged just by the sound vibrating beneath or nearby. Our health is deeply influenced by sound. And it seems we are able to be organized internally in certain ways by sound. Lovin' it.
